Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium (TASM), is introducing the "Land The Shuttle" Endowment Campaign! The "Land The Shuttle" campaign has become a unified effort for the City of Tulsa and all of Oklahoma to celebrate our Aerospace heritage, by landing one of NASA's retiring shuttles for permanent display at TASM. To do that, we have already garnered tremendous support from the entire community, city, state, and national leaders that is very positive.
Oklahoma's own CDR John Herrington will chair the committee to "Land The Shuttle" in Tulsa. Commander Herrington is a native Oklahoman and the first Native American Astronaut. He was first recognized as a talented Navy Test Pilot and as he proved himself, NASA selected him in 1996 for the Astronaut Corps. Now you have a chance to be a part of this historical opportunity for Tulsa and our future generations right here in Tulsa! Let's go "Land The Shuttle"!
Charitable contributions are being accepted by contacting TASM directly. |
